Professional Equality Index (over 100)
The 2018 law on the future of the workforce requires companies with 50 or more employees to publish each year the professional equality index relating to the pay gap between women and men.
This index enables companies to evaluate the level of equality between men and women on 100 points based on the following criteria:
- Gender pay gap (34/40)
- Differences in individual increase rates (35/35)
- Recognition of maternity leave (not applicable in 2020)
- Parity among the 10 highest compensation levels (10/10)
- Difference in promotion rates (only for companies with more than 250 employees)
