Reporting to the Regional Sales Specialist, Sales associate will be responsible to grow company’s business within a given geographical territory Mid-Atlantic (including MD, VA and PA) by targeting scientists involved in Life Science research, from Education and Medical Research Centers (E&MR) to Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies by performing duties expressed below.

Candidates to be ideally located in Maryland.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain and grow existing business to meet goals while developing a pipeline of new accounts for direct sales and/or through company’s distribution channel;
  • Create customer relationships, establish and maintain product market leadership and achieves short- and long-term sales objectives;
  • Ability to secure new accounts and expand existing account sales.
  • Constantly feed and update the existing company’s Sales Force database
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships that allow for directed probing to uncover the customer’s needs;
  • Develop solutions within the company framework and services (Marketing, Technical support) to meet these needs;
  • Review sales data and determine where there may be new opportunities to increase business;
  • Demonstrate company’s key attributes and expertise.

Education and/or Experience

An associate degree or high school diploma.

Retail sales experience. Having a distribution sales experience will be a plus.

A professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software; knowledge in any Customer database software is a plus.

Must be willing to travel over a relatively large geography which will include daily and overnight travel up to 50%

Valid car driving license is mandatory.
