Polyplus-transfection® is able to provide custom-made products to suit all your transfection and delivery needs. Choose from a pre-existing catalogue of products available on demand or request the exact transfection reagent you need.

PEI-based reagents

With over 15 years expertise in PEI-mediated transfection, Polyplus-transfection® has gained an extensive knowledge on chemistry of Polyethylenimine and its derivatives, and is now able to provide a wide range of custom-made products based on the PEI backbone. Custom PEI reagents can be engineered for specific applications such as:

  • targeting cell surface receptors
  • biodistribution studies and intracellular trafficking of nucleic acid/PEI complexes
  • protection of nucleic acids/PEI complexes

PEI-based custom reagents may be used for either in vitro or in vivo applications and may bear various residues such as but not limited to:

  • Fluorescent molecules such as tetramethylrhodamine (excitation at 555 nm; emission at 580 nm) or fluorescein (excitation at 490 nm; emission at 520 nm).
  • Avidin or Biotin groups
  • Saccharides
  • Peptides or proteins
  • Antibodies
  • Polyethylene glycols

These reagents are generated upon request and can be provided with the desired analytics that can be adapted to your specific needs. Our scientific and technical support team will assist you during the process, from the idea conception to the use of the generated product.
